give a lot take a little

Written by naomi

We strongly believe that in order to receive you must first start by giving. We believe in our personal and professional lives,  it is important to lend hand and be the voice for the less fortunate.

The primary goal of the Give Back section is to bring awareness to a seldom discussed topic in the wedding industry.

This section will feature ways to make charity a part of your business and ways for you to educate couples on how to  incorporate charity into their wedding day by truly making it a celebration for all. We will feature posts that discuss the ease and benefits of giving back as a small business owner. In addition, we hope to feature members who have planned, organized, or were involved in a charity event.

  1. LOVE this idea. So much of the industry is focused on cost, (and certainly not saving any) and appearance. Love and the act of giving back are far more important.

  2. This is one of my favorite new parts of TWIPs – encouraging charity! So many amazing directions here, I’m so proud to be a part of this incredible community!

  3. this is my favorite part so far I have a project in my home town, still working on it but as soon as it’s a reality I will share with you all!!! congrats <3

  4. I find it difficult at times to share my feelings about different causes that mean something to me. I wonder if my followers don’t welcome it. Usually I just go with my gut. If I can’t stop thinking about it, and I really want to help then that is authentically me. My followers will have to deal with it, unfollow, or better yet join me.

  5. I am a HUGE fan of giving back! Every year I volunteer my time and plan an event for charity just because it feels good and it feels right. As planners, I feel that that’s an easy way to give back. Thanks for adding this to the site and continuing to bring awareness.
