GLITTER ♥
There is nothing I love more than glitter, so with Christmas on its way, what better way to brighten up your wedding than with a little bit of sparkle?
These DIY glitter letters are really simple, but effective. You could use them to decorate the walls or tables of your venue, with a simple word like ‘love’ or just your initials. You could even make giant floor-standing versions to create an altar backdrop or focal point in your reception venue. After the big day, use them at home to brighten up your living space!
You will need:
1 x sheet foam board / foam core
1 x pack fine glitter in a colour of your choice
Spray mount or photo mount
Clear spray varnish
1 x sharp craft or xacto knife
1 x steel ruler
Template in a font of your choice
{1} First of all choose your word, and select a font you like. Print off a template making sure the letters are the correct size for your finished project (I used font Georgia and printed each letter off on a full sheet of A4)
{2} Carefully cut round each template on the foam board – use a little bit of masking tape to stick down the template while you’re cutting to prevent it moving
{3} Coat each letter in spray mount, ensuring you get an even coverage with no lumps, and don’t miss the sides!
{4} Liberally coat each letter with glitter, and leave to dry
{5} Pour off the leftover glitter
{6} Finish with a generous coat of clear varnish to protect and seal in the glitter

Super cute! I want to glitter up a bunch of letters and deck my halls!
Beautiful! So many applications for these glitter letters!
Oh my LOVE! I really do love glitter! It makes everything more fun. Some people can’t handle the mess or tactile feeling of when glitter gets stuck to your fingers with glue, but I say bring it ON : )
Well did, what a gorgeous DIY between this and the other DIY you have on your blog I am going to be upsetting a lot of people with my takeover of the kitchen table. I love glitter and I love letters!
